Automated Social Media Marketing System
Start Date: July 2009
Resources Involved: 4 main programmers, 1 project manager, 1 auxiliary programmer

Current Status: Version 1 of the project has been successfully launched and the client is satisfied. The team is now working on the development of version 2.
Project Summary: The client is an emerging web consulting company particularly focused on helping clients connect with their consumers on social media platforms. The client also has a major name in the analytics and data analysis fields.
The client approached us with a business concept which required an automated marketing system with the following features:

Approach Followed & Solution Proposed: After initial discussions with the client, our management proposed a solution completely meeting the client’s business needs and budgetary limitations- a single developer and a project manager. The developer codes the application and the project manager manages the project and interacts with the client on an ongoing basis.
This was indeed the most advantageous arrangement for the client as he reduced his overall costs by hiring a single programmer along with a project manager to overlook the process. A constant and continuous point of contact ensures timely communication and updates with the client.
One of the challenges faced during the analysis phase was the rate limit in twitter API. This was done away with by making changes to the API code. Additional custom functionality was also added to the same by our developers.
The solution developed is being successfully used by the client’s business and a newer version with added functionality is being developed currently.
In conclusion, our client is satisfied with our work since July 2009 and has been outsourcing more work to us. In particular they liked the auxiliary programmer arrangement UG Software offers an auxiliary programmer with the main programmer for no extra costs to the client. The auxiliary programmer is always up-to-date on the project and steps in to take the main programmer’s work if the latter has taken off due to unavoidable circumstances.
This guarantees no matter what happens one programmer is working for them all the time, ensuring their dollars are not wasted and quality work is provided.
Online Photography Training Application

Project Summary: The client is a service organization catering to students, photography trainers and suppliers of photography equipment.

Approach Followed & Solution Proposed: The project started off with our team of analysts collaborating with the client over video conferences and teleconferences to understand the exact requirements of the project. During this phase, many different solutions and options were proposed to the client. After the scope of the project was decided upon, the team with one programmer and ½ project manager was suggested to the client.
Version 1 of the application is still in Beta phase and version 2 is being developed by us for the client.
